Antioch Church Staff

Rev. Dan Deaton   -   Interim Pastor

Pastor Deaton comes to us after most recently serving twenty years as Director of Missions for the Little River Baptist Association. He has served with his wife Sandra in churches and as a military chaplain across North Carolina. Dan has a way with conveying the gospel through story and scripture and a passion for reaching the lost. We are blessed to have Pastor Dan's leadership and vast experience as a minister and administrator during this interim period.  When he is not serving at Antioch, you might find him volunteering as the Vetran's Treatment Court Chaplain or spending time with his five grandkids or his "un-official" dog, Bullet.

Becky Allen  -  Administrative Assistant/ Financial Secretary

Becky Allen keeps the books and keeps us running smoothly here at Antioch, but she is so much more than an Administrative Assistant.  She is a teacher, a missions advocate, an organizer, an event planner, a counselor and a friend to all who step in her office.  Becky comes to us after a long career of office managing and administrative work in the physical therapy world.  When she's not wearing one of her "church hats" , you might find Becky hanging out with her twin granddaughters , at the beach or taking in a gospel concert.

Shannon LaBelle - Youth Minister

Although Shannon has a mind for statistics, she has a heart for the Lord and an amazing ability to relate to youth and young adults.  Shannon has been  investing in the lives of our Youth for more than 15 years at Antioch and her love for our young people and welcoming smile create an atmosphere of community and compassion amongst our young people.  Shannon is an NC State grad and a proud member of the Wolfpack.  When she is not at church, you might find Mrs. Shannon catching an animated movie with her husband Jeff or spending time with family.
Rebecca Lindhout - Minister of Children and Education

Mrs. Beca loves kids and loves Jesus.  She is passionate about helping our children to develop into faithful followers of Christ.  Beca believes that it is important not just for children to know the word of God but for them to be able to to practice it through missions, worship leadership and in thier devotional lives. Mrs. Beca is a Campbell grad with a BA and BS in Religion and Education and an MDiv from BTSR. When she is not at Antioch, you will probably find she and her husband, Gavin, cracking up with her hilarious daughters (Jozie,7 and Phoebe, 1) or making up silly songs with Ms. Deanna. :)
Rev. Deanna Deaton - Minister of Music

Mrs. Deanna loves people and praising God through music. With a degree in music education from Meredith and her    MDiv from Campbell Divinity, Deanna is the best blend of teacher, conductor and minister.  She believes not just in singing hymns of faith but in understanding them and how they relate to God's word and the greater worship that takes place each Sunday.  Deanna is not just a conductor but also a composer, writing songs of praise that our children, praise team and adult choir sing regularly.  When she is not at Antioch, you can find her teaching music at Johnsonville Elementary, working on her Principal's certificate, catching a Broadway show, or "reading a book with her ears."
Sandra Deaton - Pianist

Sandra has been serving as Antioch's pianist for more than 18 years and her abilities are second to none as she helps to lead us in worship. Sandra retired after twenty five years as an educator and is counted as one of the brave, serving as a high school math teacher in various schools across North Carolina. When she's not at the church piano she's probably still at the piano at home practicing for worship and enjoyment. Sandra likes to keep her mind busy with jigsaw and word puzzles, computer scrapbooking, collecting miniature pianos and enjoying her grandkids with her husband Dan.
Ashley Porter - Organist

Ashley Porter has been playing the piano or organ since he was seven years old and we are blessed that he shares his years of experince with us every Sunday.  Ashley came to us in the fall of 2002 and has served the Lord through music at Antioch for almost 15 years. Ashley seeks to minister to our congregation through music but also finds it to be a great blessing personally. Music and the Arts are especially important to Ashley as he also serves as Principal of Eastover-Central Elementary School of Arts in Cumberland County.  Ashley is a graduate of The University of North Carolina and his Carolina blue blood runs deep.  When he's not playing at Antioch, you will probably find him at a UNC sporting event.
Linda Wilson - Custodian

Linda Wilson serves God and our church with pride and great love.  Linda goes above and beyond in keeping our church clean, stocked and ready for worship.  Linda also serves as our Nursery Director on Sunday and the love and nurturing that she shares with our babies and toddlers is a beautiful thing to behold. Linda comes to us after serving at Boone Trail Elementary School's cafeteria for many years, passing along food and love to all of our area children.  When she is not serving at Antioch, you can find Linda delivering medicines to homebound individuals and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!
